ShiftWise Sets the Standard in the Workforce Management Market
Record Growth, New Functionality and Partnerships Produce Record Marks for ShiftWise
PORTLAND, Ore.—August 13, 2008 –ShiftWise, the leader in End-to-End workforce solutions continues to see strong demand for its Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) suite of applications. During the first half of the year, ShiftWise experienced record revenue growth, with the addition of new customers and expansion of existing product lines. This growth is attributed to new product and service enhancements made as the result of the feedback gained from close collaboration with customers and suppliers alike. New customers include: University of North Carolina Medical Center, University of Louisville Hospital, Glendale Adventist Medical Center, Memorial Health System Colorado Springs, PinnacleHealth, Bethesda Memorial Hospital, Via Christi Health System, MediCorp Health System and more. “Our company has been able to meet and exceed the needs of the market place. ShiftWise customers have played an integral part in this growth as we honor the feedback and suggestions they provide enabling ShiftWise to continually improve the quality and functionality of our technology and our services,” said Steve Schwartz, ShiftWise CEO. “Our commitment to our customers is why we continue to be the solution of choice by hospitals across the United States when they seek an end-to-end workforce solution.”
Expanding Capabilities
ShiftWise’s initial entry in the marketplace was to automate the process surrounding the recruitment and scheduling of nurses. In the last half of 2007, and continuing into 2008, the demand for using ShiftWise in other areas of contingent labor has been strong. In order to address customer demand, Shiftwise augmented their core vendor management system (VMS) and internal resource pool (IRP) staff self-scheduling applications. Enhancements over the last year have focused on systems integrations, non-clinical staff scheduling, Locum Tenens scheduling and staff credential verification features.
ShiftWise now has a credential verification platform that allows hospitals to verify and approve staff profile components such as testing, credential and immunization requirements for both their internal and supplier staff. This ensures staff compliance, keeps hospitals up to standards with Joint Commission and trends them toward the achievement of the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Magnet Recognition program.
Strategic Partnership Enhancements
Through an expanded partnership with FlexChoiceRN, ShiftWise is now assisting hospitals with developing, deploying and maintaining custom designed internal float pools. In the past internal float pools were difficult to manage but by using ShiftWise hospitals are able to focus on vital issues such as recruitment and retention rather than an administrative paper chase to fill their contingent workforce needs.
