ORIGIN Product Release Reduces Supplemental Medical Staffing Costs 

PORTLAND, OR - ORIGIN, Inc. the health industry's leading automated staff management company released its next generation of software that provides hospitals and other health care provider facilities with the option of filling supplemental medical shifts from their internal resource pool of clinicians rather than being solely dependent on high cost medical staffing vendors.   

This release is an extension of the company's nationally recognized web-based Vendor Management System (VMS) which provides hospitals and other health care facilities with cost savings related to the procurement and management of supplemental staff supplied by medical staffing vendors.

ORIGIN IRP was created using the Microsoft .NET 2.0 development platform employing Microsoft ASP.NET and runs on Microsoft Windows 2000, Server Edition.  This product uses Microsoft SQL Server verion 7 for all its data storage, including Staff and Order data.
